While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I encountered behind its entrance was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of stale beer and filthy restrooms filled the entire establishment . With a smell of a mixture of urine , a rotting odor and sickness . The main bar, which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and trash that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The bathroom was in even worse condition — backed up, with a broken handle and walls stained in what I can only assume was human excrement .

As I looked into it more , I was stunned to find numerous complaints against him involving inappropriate advances, with multiple women citing incidents of distributing inappropriate messages . Described as uncomfortably pushy and boundary-crossing , his actions has created an unsafe environment for women who visit Masterson’s. His presence at the bar often felt more like that of a lurking threat than a genial proprietor .
